Frequently Asked Questions
Results and timing
How long until I see movement?
You will see results within the first week. Majority of our clients get to top 3 within 90 days. Anyone promising the top three in thirty days is guessing or hoping.
Can you guarantee the top 3?
Yes, the only thing we cannot guarantee is the timeframe. Some more competitive areas and key words will take longer than others, and we will work tirelessly until we get you ranking in the top 3.
How can I check my ranking myself?
Search for your main service from a few different spots in your area, on your phone, logged out of Google. Results change with location, which is why we report a grid of positions across your whole service area instead of one number.
Can I rank in suburbs I'm not based in?
You can rank for those areas, it's difficult but we can with time and effort. Distance is one of the strongest signals Google uses. Below the map, in the normal results, yes: that's what suburb pages are for. We'll tell you which areas are realistic for your business.
Pricing and contracts
What does it cost?
We have a fixed monthly rate based on what you want to rank for. This value will be locked in forever as you continue to work with us, even when our rates increase. We currently run a fixed rate of $1999 per month, however it may be more or less depending on what your specific needs are and where you sit. You'll get your value in the first call, not after three meetings.
Am I locked in?
There is no lock-in when working with us, you can cancel at any time. Our pricing gets you to the top 3 in Google, and keeps you there forever as long as we keep working together
Is there a setup fee?
No setup fee, just the monthly flat rate.
What happens if I cancel?
You can cancel at any time, and you keep everything: the profile, the pages we built, the reviews and every login. They're in your name from day one. Your rankings will likely fall over time if we stop working together
How we work
Do I need a new website?
Good News! Usually, no. Most cases the site is workable. If your site is genuinely holding us back we'll let you know early. If it's absolutely necessary then we offer web building services for a small fee. If you do not have a website, it is a necessity if you want to rank higher, especially in competitive areas. More good news! We can save you the hassle and create your website from scratch and give you the best chance at ranking in your area.
How much of my time does it take?
Very little, we handle a majority of things on our end, leaving you as much time to run your business as usual, if you can handle all the new customers you will be dealing with as a result of our services. We will regularly update you on where you're standing to ensure everything is running smoothly
Will you write reviews for us?
No. Fake reviews break Google's rules and Australian Consumer Law, and they get profiles suspended. We make it easy for your real customers to leave one. Genuine reviews give genuine results
Who owns the accounts?
You do. We're added as an account admin on your profile and website, never the owner. If we part ways, you remove us and nothing changes.
Google Business Profile
I don't have a shopfront. Can I still show on the map?
Yes. Service-area businesses like tradies and mobile services can show on the map with their address hidden. We set the service area to match where you actually work. Look at our Marketing agency for example: no shopfront, ranking in the top 3.
How does verification work?
Google chooses the method, usually a short video of your business, sometimes phone, email or a postcard. It can take a few days to a couple of weeks. We prepare everything and walk you through it.
My profile was suspended. Can you help?
Often, yes. Most suspensions come from a setting that breaks Google's guidelines, like keywords in the business name or an address you can't use. We fix the cause and lodge the reinstatement request.
I have two listings for the same business. Is that a problem?
Yes. Duplicates split your reviews and confuse Google about which one to show. We merge or remove the extra one and keep the listing with the most history.
Local SEO
What's the difference between GBP optimisation and local SEO?
Google Business Profile work gets you onto the map. Local SEO gets your website ranking in the normal results below it. They support each other, and most businesses need both to rank high.
